The Finnish company Kitka Games made a game called “Stumble Guys,” which had a limited release in the months after “Fall Guys” came out on PS4 and PC in August 2020. It went worldwide in January 2021.
AppMagic, a market intelligence company, says that the game had a mediocre year last year but has been doing very well lately (via MobileGamer.biz).
The number of downloads of Stumble Guys unblocked is now in the top 10 in both the US and UK. Since it came out, the app has been downloaded more than 163 million times and made $21.5 million.
The multiplayer knockout game is like Fall Guys in that it pits players against each other in bright obstacle courses until only one player is left. It also gives you a lot of ways to make it your own.
In October 2021, Stumble Guys was also made available for PC. The game’s creator says that 18 million people play it every day.
Reports say that 32.8 million people downloaded Stumble Guys in June, and those people spent $6.6 million on the app. Downloads reached their peak on June 25, when 1.5 million gamers downloaded the game in a single day.
Last month, Stumble Guys downloads peaked just four days after Fall Guys became free-to-play. Fall Guys was also released for the first time on June 21 through the Epic Games Store, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
The PC version was also taken off of Steam, but people who already bought it will still get full support.
Bilibili, a Chinese company that makes games and entertainment, has bought the rights to put out a mobile version of Fall Guys in China in 2020.
