Night after night, most touring bands perform hits from a regular repertoire.
Lady A, on the other hand, has revealed the locations and dates for a very special concert tour in 2022. Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood, the award-winning trio, will embark on their Request Line Tour in August, which will see them performing in smaller locations and allowing direct audience interaction.
The tour will go off on Aug. 13-14 with a two-night performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The tour will take place in some of the country’s greatest mid-sized halls and executing arts facilities, including Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, Philadelphia’s Met, New York’s Beacon Theatre, Washington, D.C.’s Anthem, and Chicago’s Theatre. Not only will fans be able to have a more intimate concert atmosphere at those locations, but they will also be able to phone 615-882-1975 during the Request Line Tour and request that Lady A add their favorite songs to the setlist in their city, ensuring that no two concerts will be the same. The pop-country trio just announced on Instagram that “(they’re) taking requests!” while on tour. On the #RequestLineTour, no two shows will ever be the same!”
The trio’s impromptu “A Request Line” tour will take them throughout the country, where they’ll perform 35 different shows that will test their abilities in every manner possible, with special guest soul-pop singer Dave Barnes opening for them on key dates.
“We’ve been traveling for over fifteen years and have played some of the world’s most prestigious venues,” Haywood says in a press statement announcing the tour. “But there’s something genuinely unique about being close to your audience and having the opportunity to incorporate the fans in how the event happens.” “Our greatest moments during our Vegas residency enabled the three of us to interact with the audience and play what they wanted to hear. So this year, we’re going to make that spirit a regular element of our events.”Get Cheapest Tickets From Here
On the Request Line Tour, Dave Barnes will be Lady A’s support act.
This tour follows the group’s “What A Song Can Do” Tour, which promoted the release of their “What A Song Can Do” album in 2021.
