by Police continued Monday to investigate who is responsible for antisemitic stickers that were found throughout Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach.
People reported the hate speech stickers throughout the area Thursday, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
“Officers responded to the various locations and discovered the stickers containing hate speech related to the Jewish community,” police said.
Officers, with the assistance of Manhattan Beach Public Works, removed the stickers, police said. The investigation continues Monday, and it is believed that the incident happened overnight Wednesday.
Police are seeking the community’s assistance to identify those responsible for placing the stickers.

Anyone with information or potential home video recordings of this incident can contact the Manhattan Beach Police Department’s Tip Line at 310-802-5171.
“I am deeply troubled that we find ourselves again experiencing incidents of hate in our community,” Mayor Hildy Stern said in a statement.
“I am grateful for our police department’s swift response to these troubling incidents. Especially during the season of peace and joy, we are reminded that we do not tolerate acts of hate in any form and stand united with those hurt by these horrible acts,” Stern said. “Our community will remain united against hate, and support each other with compassion, kindness, and hope.”
Victims of hate incidents can also seek support through LA vs. Hate. This program includes a network of community agencies that provide prevention, advocacy and support to victims of incidents of hate. To report hate incidents, people can call 211.
Antisemitic stickers were also found in nearby Hermosa Beach.
Hermosa Beach Public Works Department crews removed antisemitic signs that were discovered Thursday at nine locations around the city. Police there are searching for whoever posted the materials, which apparently were placed Wednesday night.
“The city moved quickly to remove these repulsive signs, and we thank the community for alerting us to their presence,” said Hermosa Beach Mayor Mike Detoy. “As a City, we firmly condemn this horrible act of hate and stand with our Jewish community in promoting tolerance and acceptance of all religions and people. In this season, we are reminded that love outlasts hate.”
Because similar signs were posted in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa police are working with that city’s police to investigate the incident.
